Yet another productive day in the shop today, My morning started with the shaping of the heel and the neck profile. Once completed I've when ahead with adding the back veneer onto the back of the peghead and finish drilling the hole for the tuners.
Stopped for lunch... Resumed with the neck glue up which although uneventful , was harder to insert that I had anticipated... And with the clock ticking on the glue open time, got me a little stressed out.. While the glue was setting on the neck joint, I decided to start the fretboard. On the pictures it might look too small widthwise but there will be binding around it which will give it the proper dimension. Next on my list... Carving the Backboard!!!
