I actually knew Tomy's wife first as a musician. At an open mic she mentioned Tomy made instruments. I watched videos and his website for 3 yrs before I actually ordered mine. I had an idea for an instrument and we discussed at length before starting. It was amazing watching the build videos and seeing my dream come true before me. This was my first custom built instrument and I couldn't be happier. I am actually recording with it this week in the studio. I own a lot of instruments but anyone that comes over always stops to ask what the OM is. It's even prettier in person and the sound is so bright and clear with sustain for days. Some day soon I will have Tomy build me another instrument.

The Beast

Black Beauty. Plays easily and the combination of bearclaw
spruce and quilted maple with abalone, dark binding and 'burst
is both eye and ear catching. I have a Randy Wood 2 point that
is stellar, but when I head out for some quiet time to play on the porch, I find the Black Beauty in my hand. Tomy's projects will
continue to impress. Time to get on board."

Je suis très heureux de mon acquisition chez Hovington Instrument, le produit est fait sur mesure et selon mes demandes. Beaucoup de communication entre moi et Tomy en ce qui attrait aux options possible. Mon instrument est unique et je l’adore. Quand j’ai reçu ma guitare j’ai ouvert le coffre et une odeur de bois fraichement travaillé s’en ai échappé, la première chose que j’ai constaté est la qualité composantes. Cet instrument est tout simplement parfait. Le bois de rose donne au son une pureté et d’une richesse incroyable. Je suis extrêmement satisfait du travail de Hovington Instrument. Rien ne peux décrire le feeling de jouer de cet instrument, testé par quelques un de mes amis tous en sont tombé amoureux au premier accord.
