Today in the shop... I've stem bent the ribs of the hollowbody. I also have the neck rough shaped and the center block ready to go in.
In the shop today... coat number 15 is applied and you can see the reflection of the fretboard on the soundboard. Tomorrow I'll wet sand again before starting the last coats.
Well...after I posted the pictures of the electronics on my blog yesterday, a message was waiting for me in my inbox this morning. A deal was made and now the ES-335 will be Ken's ES-335... Congrats!
Today in the shop...just received my order of humbuckers, pots, bridge etc... I like to have a side project for whenever I have to wait for the glue to dry. This is for a Semi-Hollow Body ES-335 style guitar. I also made the glue up for the soundboard, backboard and neck.
Today in the shop...wet sanding the French polish, with olive oil. I added another coat of polish right after.
First blog post!!!
Hi everybody, this first post is to show you what is brewing in my shop right now. I have 3 F5s on the bench: one master curly figured, one quilted, and one angel step. Up until now I was keeping track of my progress through Facebook. You can find my business page by clicking here.
